MAN’S LAST GREAT INVENTION – May 20th, 7:30 p.m.

MAN’S LAST GREAT INVENTION
MAY 20th 7:30 p.m @ The Project Lodge (817 E. Johnson)
$5 at door

Man’s Last Great Invention is the brainchild of Lincoln, NE-based guitarist/laptopist Ande Reinkordt, surrounded by a revolving cast of improvisers. They create pieces that unfold slowly, building from tiny insectoid hisses and crackles into beautiful monolithic soundmasses.

On Thursday, May 20th, MLGI will be performing a new soundtrack to John McTiernan’s 80’s pulp classic The Predator. They hope to alter the way the audience perceives the film’s violent imagery through their lush textural ambience and drone.
